Competency
Our tree surgeons and groundsmen are fully experienced, NPTC trained and qualified to task.
Substances
All the substances we use are COSHH assessed. Safety data sheets are carried to site.
Health and Safety Policy
Our company Health and Safety Policy document details the health and safety responsibilities of our staff. A copy is available on request.
Risk Assessment / Method Statements
Before each job commences, our charge hand will undertake a Site-Specific Risk Assessment of all foreseeable hazards involved. Based on our company Generic Risk Assessments, he will organise safe working methods appropriate to the job and location. The results are discussed with the team and the results recorded.
Roadside working
We frequently undertake work on street trees. Our teams have undertaken Highways Agency Chapter 8 Road Signing. Traffic management and road signing is put in place before work commences. We work in safe working zones.
First Aid
All our teams are trained in First Aid, most are Appointed Persons. We take first aid kits on site and our climbers carry small personal first aid kits.
Conservation Areas / TPO's
We can provide help with the TPO's (Tree Preservation Orders) and all work in conservation areas together with help with all applications.
